Frequently asked questions
Answers to the questions we hear most from businesses in the UAE about our POS, billing, attendance, inventory and RFID software, hardware and services.
Frequently asked questions
What software does POS Emirates provide?
We supply POS and billing, time attendance, stock and inventory management, asset management, RFID, delivery management, event management and price checker applications, plus fully custom ERP systems. Everything is available as a cloud-based application or installed on your own server.
Are your applications cloud-based?
Yes. Every product runs in the cloud with browser and mobile access, automatic backups and updates included. The same software can also be installed on-premise, or run as a hybrid setup where billing stays local and reporting syncs to the cloud.
Can I start with one module and add others later?
Yes, and most customers do. Products share one platform and one database, so adding inventory to an existing POS, or attendance to an existing ERP, does not mean a second system or a second login.
Is your software VAT compliant in the UAE?
Yes. Invoices carry your TRN, a 5% VAT breakdown and sequential numbering as required by the Federal Tax Authority, VAT reports generate automatically, and our roadmap follows the UAE e-invoicing programme.
Do you build custom software and ERP systems?
Yes. Where no off-the-shelf product matches your workflow, we build to your requirement, starting from proven modules so a working prototype is ready in days. Integrations with existing accounting, e-commerce and payment systems are part of the scope.
Which areas of the UAE do you cover?
All seven emirates from our Dubai office, including Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain, with remote support elsewhere in the GCC.
How long does implementation take?
A single-site setup is usually live within three to five working days, including data import and staff training. Multi-branch rollouts and custom ERP projects are delivered in phases with agreed milestones.
