Events in Dubai and Abu Dhabi are large, international and unforgiving: if the gate slows down or the payment system fails, the whole event suffers. The POS Emirates Event Management Application was built by a team that also installs POS hardware for a living — it is engineered for reliability first.

From a 200-person corporate dinner to a 30,000-visitor exhibition, the same platform handles registration, access, badges, cashless sales and reporting, with POS Emirates technicians on site if you want them.

Key capabilities

Registration and ticketing

Build a bilingual registration page in your branding with multiple ticket types, early-bird pricing, promo codes, group bookings and custom questions. Payments are processed through Telr or Network International in AED, and tickets are delivered as QR codes by email, WhatsApp and mobile wallet.

Check-in and access control

Scan QR tickets with any smartphone or handheld scanner; the system checks validity, ticket type and zone permissions and blocks duplicates — even offline. Self-service kiosks let attendees scan and print their own badge, and RFID wristbands or cards enable walk-through gates for large crowds.

Badges and credentials

Design badges with names, companies, ticket categories, QR codes and colour coding; print on demand at check-in in under five seconds on Brother or Zebra printers, or pre-print for speakers and VIPs.

Cashless payments

Attendees top up RFID wristbands online or at top-up points and pay at food, beverage and merchandise stalls with a tap. Organisers see sales per stall in real time, settle vendors from a report and eliminate cash handling. Unused balances can be refunded automatically.

Exhibitors and leads

Exhibitors receive a lead-capture app to scan visitor badges, add notes and ratings and export leads after the event — a measurable return on their stand investment.

Hardware and on-site support

POS Emirates supplies or rents handheld scanners, badge printers, self-check-in kiosks, RFID wristbands and stall POS terminals, delivers and sets them up at the venue and can staff the event with technicians for the duration.

Pricing explained

One-off events are licensed per event by attendee capacity. Organisers running several events a year choose the annual licence, which includes unlimited events, a hardware rental pool and a dedicated event manager. Payment gateway fees apply to online sales.

Working with POS Emirates

We typically start four to six weeks before the event: registration page setup, badge design, hardware plan, venue network check and staff briefing. On the day, our technicians are at the gate before the doors open.
